Why families choose Right Choice Living

Choosing a care provider is mostly a question of trust. These are the things we can put in writing.

  • The same carers wherever possible

The complaint we hear most often about home care is a rota of strangers. We plan against it, and we tell you who is coming.

  • Flexible care from 30 minutes

From one visit a week to full daily support and overnight care. It changes as needs change.

  • Checked, trained and insured

Enhanced DBS and reference checks, and induction training completed before a first visit.

  • Honest about what we cannot do

We are registered for personal care, not nursing. We say so plainly rather than taking work we should not.

How care starts

  1. Call, or ask for a callback

We will listen to what is needed and answer your questions. No obligation, no pressure, no sales visit.

  2. Free home assessment

We visit at a time that suits you, meet the person who needs care, and look at the home together.

  3. Your care plan

Written around the person's routine, preferences and goals, and agreed with you before anything starts.

  4. Care begins

You meet your regular carers before their first visit, so nobody opens the door to a stranger.

Questions people ask first

How quickly can care start?

Usually within a few days of the assessment. If it is urgent — a hospital discharge, or a carer suddenly unavailable — call and we will tell you honestly what we can cover.

Can I choose my carer?

You will meet your regular carers before they start, and if the match is not right we will change it. Tell us at the assessment if you would prefer a female or male carer.

Can care increase later?

Yes, and it often does. We review the plan with you regularly and can go up or down as needs change.

Do you cover weekends and nights?

Yes — mornings, evenings, weekends and overnight. Overnight can mean a carer awake all night, or sleeping in nearby and available if needed.
